Miami Film Festival

The Miami Film Festival is a world-class platform for International and Ibero-American films. Every year, the Festival showcases the work of the world’s best emerging and established filmmakers to the diverse cosmopolitan community of Miami. This year the MFF celebrated its 37th edition, and Gluttonomy curated the food and beverage for all of the events during the festival, including the opening ceremony, dinners and parties all over Downtown Miami and its surrounding neighborhoods.

For the opening party at the Alfred Dupont Building, we invited six chefs and restaurants to prepare small plates inspired by movie snacks for 1,200 guests. The chefs included Carlos Garcia from Obra Miami, Santiago Gomez from Cantina La Veinte, Fish Gomez from La Gringa, Fabian Di Paolo from Cvltvra, Diego Oka from La Mar, and Daniel Serfer from Blue Collar and Vinaigrette.

Furthermore, our design team created a map that was passed out to approximately 10,000+ people, filmmakers, producers, talent and industry professionals from around the world, who had traveled to town for the Miami Film Festival. The map acted as a guide of all the restaurants and happenings that were going on during the week of the festival. This was the Festival’s first year where the majority of the Festival was taking place in Downtown. This Guide included official events, best ways to get around, and a curated list of local hot-spots, restaurants, and bars. This was distributed at screening venues and in the Headquarter hotel and given to all guests as their best method to familiarize themselves with the area. This quickly became a festival favorite, and an essential tool to further engage the community and activate the city during the Miami Film Festival. 

As said by Albaerto Sigarroa, Gluttonomy elevated the culinary component at all Miami Film Festival events, taking the guest’s experience and events beyond just a party, and into a culinary adventure. Miami Film Festival recognizes how important the culinary aspect is to any event and the partnership with Gluttonomy has allowed for MFF to begin further integrating this into its program. We look forward to working together again and developing our relationship.
